BlackBerry 9720 launched in India for Rs. 15990

The BlackBerry 9720 smartphone features a spacious BlackBerry keyboard with keys for optimal typing, a 2.8'' touchscreen and trackpad for easy navigation.

capacitive touch screen display with 246 ppi and a Full QWERTY keyboard. It is powered by 806 MHz processor and runs on BlackBerry OS 7.1. It has a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash. It also has a dedicated BBM key that is user customizable.

With 12mm thickness, and weighing 120 grams, the body of the device looks similar to Curve series. It is powered by an 806MHz Tavor MG1 processor and has 512MB of RAM. The device is equipped with a 5-megapixel rear camera with 4X digital zoom and image stabilization alongside an LED flash, but lacks a front-facing camera.

The BlackBerry 9720 smartphone is expected to be available in India from 14 September.
