Apple and other retailers watched in delight as thousands queued this morning to get their hands on the iPhone 4S. The iPhone 4S has reported to of attracted the longest ever queue for an Apple product at 778 people.  Many people queuing were due to missing out on pre-ordering with their chosen network. Despite this, Apple have reported that the iPhone 4S broke the record previously held by the iPhone 4 for pre-orders.  Approximately, One million pre-orders were taken for the iPhone 4S in the first 24 hours of launching and around three million of the shiny new handsets are expected to sell over the course of the weekend.
The most popular variant pre-ordered and purchased has been the iPhone 4S 16GB white which is free from £41 per month on Vodafone.  The most popular feature seems to be the newly introduced 8MP camera which now matches other handsets such as the Samsung Galaxy S II.  The next new introduction which fans are thrilled about is Siri, the new voice assistant.  Siri enables iPhone 4S users to send messages, make calls and place diary entries by voice control.

In the battle between iPhone and Android, one man is a guaranteed winner – Terry Guo. Guo’s company Foxconn makes parts for both. However, all is not well at Foxconn. As Guo tries to ramp up production, he’s been hit with labor shortages and higher wage demands. With a spate of suicides bringing bad publicity, perhaps Guo decided humans are more trouble than they’re worth. He recently announced Foxconn will add 1 million robots in the next 3 years, freeing up workers for higher-value tasks. However, many worry that the robots will actually compete with workers, driving down wages even further.

IPhone 5 Finally Coming On September Five

iPhone 5 is what people have been waiting since long. Every now and then there is a rumor that iPhone 5 is about to get released but now it is finally coming on 5^th September this year. A Senior Executive of Swisscom confirmed this news. Swisscom is Apple’s official partner in Switzerland with Orange and Sunrise.

Verizon’s CEO Lowell McAdam also confirmed it on a conference call the iPhone 5 will be released in fall this year. Well people might think that the release is again a rumor but this time it is not one and is something true. There are a lot of reasons behind it being true. The first one is that Swisscom is Apple’s official partner and it will not give any such statement which will harm its reputation and its relations with Apple. Secondly, Verizon has already started clearing out its inventory which means it is making way for iPhone 5.

Not to forget iPhone 5 is the next generation phone by Apple and it is hoped to be a totally different smartphone by Apple with lots of excellent features and apps in it. HTC, Motorola, Samsung and LG all come up with strategies and cell phones to make the success path for iPhone 5 difficult but it looks like Apple will still manage to achieve success.

iPhone 4 initially faced a few problems in signal reception and it was leaked out as well before its official launch but this time it didn’t happen so. Some say that iPhone 5 will be a transparent glass phone others say it will be something different in shape and size. Bluetooth 4.0 will have extra range which will be almost 200 meters and it will also utilize less power. This is something really interesting.
According to Swisscom Apple iPhone 5 will make its debut on 5^th September and will be globally provided to the users a month after its debut. iPhone lover now don’t need to wait any longer because soon they will be able to get their hands on iPhone 5. Apple promises to provide an extra ordinary smartphone experience to people all around the world and wants to become the true market leader in the cell phones industry.
