The Samsung messaging phone is already available at US Cellular. The handset is dubbed the Samsung Character that provides three Main Menu screens.
New Samsung Character QWERTY phone is comes in two color options – blue and grey. The Character phone has a 2.8-inch QVGA touchscreen display, full slide-out QWERTY keyboard, a 1.3MP camera, and Bluetooth v2.1.

The Samsung Character messaging phone packs a microSD card slot, voice recognition, web browser, and widget support. Its 1000mAh Lithium Ion battery is good for up to up to 5 hours of talk time, up to 12 days of standby.
Dimensions of Samsung Character are 4.2 x 2.18 x 0.58 inches and weighs 4.23 oz.
