Sony Mobile launches Xperia S at Rs 32,549
Sony Mobile Communications has officially launched the Xperia S, their
new flagship Android smartphone in their NXT series. The Xperia S comes
with 4.3 inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD Reality Display with Mobile BRAVIA
Engine and is powered by 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm processor. It runs on
Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) OS that is upgradable to Android 4.0
(Ice Cream Sandwich) in Q2 2012.
The flagship smartphone Xperia S has a 4.3-inch scratch resistant TFT
touchscreen, along with 12.1 mega pixel camera and 1.5GHz Qualcomm dual
core processor. The pricing of the other devices, Xperia P, Xperia U and
Xperia Sola, was however not disclosed.
The Xperia S is powered by a 1.5 GHz Qualcomm dual-core processor,
and flaunts a 12.1 megapixel camera with auto focus, 16x digital zoom
and LED flash. It also has a 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera. The
phone has 1GB RAM.
