New Tavera Neo 3 launched
General Motors, on Wednesday, launched the new variant of its multi-utility
vehicle (MUV) Tavera, which carries ‘extensive upgrade' based on customer
feedback.
The biggest change on the MUV is the all-new Sonalika sourced 2.0-litre Tcdi
direct injection diesel engine good for 105bhp of power and 262 Nm of torque.
The engine is mated with a 5-speed transmission. Apart from being more
powerful, the new engine is expected to be more refined as well.
The new Tavera has received few notable modifications made to its exterior.
It now dons new front end and a broader mesh type grille with matching air
ducts. The headlamps have been edged with ample quantity of chrome and so has
the grille - in the center of which, the Chevrolet logo rests. On the inside,
the new Chevrolet Tavera has received new styling and interiors that gives
the MUV an up-market feel.
