IIT JEE 2011 will be conducted on 10th April 2011 in 131 cities all over India in 1051 centres for 4,85,262 registered candidates.At the examination hall, the admit card should be presented to the invigilators for verification. The candidate’s identity will be verified with respect to his/her details on the admit card and the centre verification record .Because admit proves your identity since it contains your photo and other important details regarding to you.

The authorities may at their discretion permit the candidate to appear for the examination after completing formalities including taking of thumb impression. No extra time will be allowed for these formalities to be completed. Any impersonation will lead to disqualification in JEE.
