BSNL Launches 3 Android Tablets, Price Starting From Rs. 3250

Pan India 3G mobile service provider Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) today
announced the launch of 3 Android powered Tablets including two 7 inch
resistive screen based tabs (WiFi and 3G) and one 8 inch capacitive
touchscreen Tablets in association with Pantel Technologies.

BSNL has announced it will be launching three Android tablets on March 1,
with special data plans. Manufactured by Pantel, BSNL’s three tablets run
on Android 2.3 Gingerbread, and aim to cater to both the low-end and mid-
range segments of the markets, with prices ranging from Rs. 3,250 to
Rs. 13,500. Pantel will also be looking to launch the tablets via MTNL in
its markets.

Penta T PAD IS 701R : 7-inch resistive display with 800X480p resolution,
1GHz processor, 256MB RAM, Wi-Fi, Android 2.3, 3G Dongle support, 0.3MP
camera, HDMI port, 3000 mAh battery, 2GB Internal memory and an expandable
memory of 32 GB. Price – INR 3250.

Penta TPAD WS704C is Priced at Rs. 10,999 /- having a 7 inch capacitive
Touch screen  powered by 1 GHz processor with 512MB RAM and a Built in
memory of 4GB that can be expended to 32GB . It runs on Android 2.3
Gingerbread OS and has a Sim card slot with a 0.3Mp Front + 2.0 Mp Rear
camera with an Inbuilt GPS and Bluetooth .

Penta TPAD WS802C  is Priced at Rs. 13500 /- having a 8 inch capacitive
Touch screen  powered by 1.2 GHz processor with 512MB RAM and a Built in
memory of 4GB that can be expended to 32GB . It runs on Android 2.3
Gingerbread OS and has a Sim card slot with a 0.3Mp Front + 2.0 Mp Rear
camera with an Inbuilt GPS and Bluetooth .

All the tablets are manufactured by Noida based company – Pantel. The
tablets comes bundled with three months of free 2G/GPRS data usage and
discounted 3G plans from BSNL.
