The HTC had pleased the technology lovers with the launch of Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread empowered Wildfire S Smartphone in the Indian market at just Rs 14,700 with a 3.2-inch superfine HVGA display with 320 x 480 pixel dimension and 5-megapixel autofocus camera. A 600 MHz processor is employed to drive the smartphone, which is 12.4mm thick and credits to be the smallest phone of HTC.
To support a variety of audio and video formats, the device is installed with an expandable microSD memory along with a new integrated online e-reading experience accommodating a new e-book store boosted by Kobo and a new mobile-optimized e-reader that highlight, interpret and quickly search for definitions or translate unknown terms.
The product also exhibits some alluring characteristics such as 512 MB RAM, auto focus camera along with the LED flash that enables the user to caste a photo even in insufficient light. Device use has no place restrictions and can be used anywhere, curtsy to quad-band GSM (850/900/1800/1900 MHz) and HSPA/WCDMA (900/2100 MHz) network support.
Its other attributes permit a new differentiated online mapping experience where the users acquire instantaneous on-demand mapping without any download delays or incurring mobile roaming charges.
