Finally, iPhone 4 has been launched in India by Aircel and Airtel after the launch of Apple's smartphone after a delay of 11 months. The phone was launched by Paoli Dam, Tollywood celebrity and has already made its place in 35 cities of India. The launch is believed to be delayed due to unavailability of third generation (3g) networks in the country.
The handset costs Rs 34,500 with 16-GB capacity and the model with 32GB storage capacity costs up to 40,900. The phone is suitable for long-term use, the phone constitutes of features like Apple's A4 operating system, magnificent retina display, 5-MP camera with LED flash, Face Time video chat and HD video recording. The phone has a qualitative screen with a better battery back-up.
The Airtel CEO, PD Sharma (West Bengal and Orissa), predicts that the phone will not face a setback in demand because of its price even if it is compared with the price in the US ranging up to $1500.
